Families Are Forever!

This picture does not do what you see justice! My wonderful daughter-in-law, Melanie, gave me this for Mother's Day. It's an 18" x 24" poster of my 4 generations. She went to all the work of finding all the pictures she could of my ancestors; where they were born and birthday, where they were married and their wedding date, where they died and their death date! She also did one for Mom and Dad. They already have their's framed and it looks beautiful! I can't wait to get it framed!

When I opened it, I teared up because it touched me so much! It was so wonderful to see me, my parents, and all my grandparents. What a treasure!

Melanie, thank you so much! You are always so thoughtful of EVERYONE! You are such an example to me of giving of yourself and looking for opportunities to serve those who need a little extra help and love. I am so blessed to have you in my life!

I'm so thankful for eternal families; that we can have them with us forever if we but do what we know is right. I'm so thankful for those truths that the gospel gives me. My family is my joy!

Whoa, you weren't supposed to blog it. :) I'm glad you like it. Now that I've given it away, I feel like I need to make it better or change it up. Let's work on a 2nd draft together. I just really needed a project when I started it and one that made someone as happy as this did you was totally worth it. Plus, I didn't hunt around for photos, your mom did. Love you too.

(Counting you there's 6 generations, most with photos. Our kids will have photos that in some lines will go 8 generations back. Amazing.)
